I canoed down there last summer and wandered around a bit and took some pictures, but aside from a site plan .pdf I found I've seen no other info. I'm interested to get the latest on the Kingman Island nature center. The project seems to be in limbo since Mayor Fenty disolved the AWC and internalized the project. The nature center could be a real catalyst for interest and improvement of the river, but it's taking forever. Aside from general design plans on the architects website and a blurb on the dc-gov site, I've seen nothing. Any information is greatly appreciated. -Eric ...
